Bright's Iconic Rod Run on again - changed traffic conditions details

The Alpine Shire Council intends to close the roads listed below in order to allow the conduct of the following events. Notice is hereby given in accordance with powers conferred by Clause 10 of Schedule 11 of the Local Government Act 1989.

BRIGHT’S ICONIC ROD RUN EVENT

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS FOR BRIGHT TOWN CENTRE

FROM 7.00AM FRIDAY 7 NOVEMBER TO 7.00AM SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2014

To facilitate the annual Bright Rod Run a Traffic Management Plan has been developed by Alpine Shire Council, which will see barriers installed in the following locations:

Barnard Street at Camp Street intersection
Wood Street at Anderson Street intersection
Burke Street at Ireland Street roundabout (Clock tower)
Gavan Street roundabout
Anderson Street
Ireland Street
Railway Avenue
Cobden Street

Important Notice: Residents and visitors are reminded that no vehicle can be left parked in any of the above locations after the stated road closure times, as this will prevent the event from commencing. Please assist the organisers and remind each other of this requirement.

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS FOR PIONEER PARK PRECINCT/ CORONATION AVENUE

SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2014, FROM 7.00AM TO 2.30PM

To facilitate the Show N Shine, a Traffic Management Plan has been developed by Alpine Shire Council, which will see barriers and traffic conditions altered in the following locations:

Cobden Street at Pioneer Lane intersection
Hawthorn Lane at Coronation Avenue intersection
Pioneer Lane at Coronation Avenue intersection

FROM 3.30PM TO 7.00PM SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2014

CLOSURES IMPLEMENTED AT:

Barnard/ Camp Street intersection at roundabout (Clock tower)
Roundabout (Clock tower) at Burke Street intersection
Anderson Street at break in the road
